Special Services 

Remembrance Sunday 9th November 2025. 

There will be an act of remembrance during the 10am service.

They shall not grow old as we who are left grow old, 

Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn. 

At the going down of the sun and in the morning

Starting at 3pm there will be the parade and service on The Green, around the war memorial followed by a service in All Saints

A Collect For Remembrance Sunday

Ever-living God, we remember those whom You have gathered from the storm of war into the peace  of Your presence; may that same peace calm our fears, bring justice to all peoples and establish harmony among the nations through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.

On the 11th November at 11am there will be a short act of remembrance on Nettleham Village Green. We will be gathering from around 10:50 am if you would like to join us.

Dear God

We remember with deep sadness

all who have died in war, or who still
suffer in body, mind or spirit.
Please comfort all who grieve or are in pain.
May Your peace and foregiveness overcome
oppression and hatred, and Your light overcome 
darkness and fear. Give us hope, wisdom and
courage to work for peace and healing in our world. 
Amen.
