Churchwarden Update
Andy Lewis served as a faithful and dedicated churchwarden for 10 years. Last year he agreed to serve for one more year but now he really has passed on the mantle to Ced Hanson, who was elected at the Anual Church Meeting on 10th May 2026. Thank you so much Andy dfor your dedicated, faithful service over the last decade. Congratulations to Ced for agreeing to take on the role and being duly elected.
Andy has agreed to continue as parish safeguarding officer and to continue leading on the tower restoration project. He has also agreed to continue serving on the PCC.
For the first time All Saints also has two assistant churchwardens. The will give support to John Dent and Ced Hanson. Peter Brown and David Subden have agreed to take up these roles. They will be offered any support they might need in their new roles. Congratulations Peter and David.
To Love and Serve the Lord
This diocesan course will run here in our room in The Hub at 7pm and initial thoughts are to begin in May on a Tuesday or Thursday. It’s a great course if you are interested in deepening your Christian faith or exploring how you might be called to serve? The “To Love and Serve the Lord” course, offered by the Diocese of Lincoln, provides a welcoming space to grow in understanding, reflect on your vocation, and consider how you can live out your faith in everyday life. Whether you are simply curious or sensing a call to greater involvement in church life, this course is a great starting point and a pathway into lay ministry and service within our community.
