Prayer for week commencing:

August 2nd 2026.

Breathe in me, O Holy Spirit, that my thoughts may all be holy. Act in me, O Holy Spirit, that my work, too, may be holy. Draw my heart, O Holy Spirit, that I love but what is holy. Strengthen me, O Holy Spirit, to defend all that is holy. Guard me, then, O Holy Spirit, that I always may be holy. Amen

Please pray for our churchwardens - John Dent & Cedric Hanson (All Saints) & Caroline Dunn (St Mary's, Riseholme). We are also thankful to have assistant wardens this year too - David Subden & Peter Brown (All Saints) and Richard Smith (St Mary's). Rememeber them all as they serve and minister with and among us in the coming year.
