Hard Hat Tours

Numbers for each tour were limited due to needing to climb narrow ladders up the scaffolding on the outside of the tower.

Tours were only for those over 16 years of age who were generally physically fit and were not suitable for wheelchair or pushchair users.

Below are a collection of photos taken on the morning of the first tour. Thanks to Peter Broadley for taking them.

For those who were unable to do one of the tours there is a short video -  click on the icon below to play the video.

Each person who undertook the tour received a certificate and were asked to fill in a feedback form

A second round of tours took place on Wednesday 30th September 2026. During the first of these the Archdeacon of Stow and Lindsey, along with Reverend Michelle, the architect, workmen from Pinnacle and Parish and District Councillors took part.
The Archdeacon blessed the work from the top.
