16th December prayers

Creator God, we thank You for Your wonderful, amazing creation. Thank You that You are with us even when we feel like we are cold, stripped bare like the winter trees. Thank You that though the trees are laying dormant at this time they are building strength for the spring to soon come. Help us do the same, especially when we feel as if our lives are in the depths of winter. Root us in You so that we can gain strength and nourishment thriough Your Word, Your Spirit and the encouragemnet of other Christians. Let us know, that You are there with us and help us to be encouragers to others too. Like the seeds enable us to wait patiently in the name of Christ we pray. Amen
