15th December prayers

Lord, our Good Shepherd, we thank You that You called the shepherds on that first Christmas Day and that they heard Your angelic call and went and found You in the manger. Thank You that You are the Good Shepherd of us all and that You call each of us by name because You know each one of us. Help us be obedient to Your call, just as the shepherds were. Thank You, that You, Good Shepherd, willingly laid down Your life so that we might live, even though we do not deserve to. Thank You for faith. Let us follow the shepherds' example and tell others that You are their shepherd also. Amen
