4th December prayers

Lord Jesus, we give You honour and praise because You came to this world - to save us and reconcile us to our Heavenly Father. Thank You that in Your creation we see images of Your sacrifice and eternal life through Holly and Ivy. Strengthen our faith through this period of waiting, not only as we prepare to celebrate Your birth, but particularly as we wait for Your second coming. Let our lips join the merry organ as we get ready to sing Your song of salvation in full. Guide us to those who don't know You, help us share our love of You and enable us to show them that You came for them too. Amen.
